My site will be on and off over the next two days while I reconfigure (or attempt to) all of my DNS, nameserver, etc settings.

What I’m trying to do is get my domain email addresses to work, and luckily for me my current host doesn’t directly support it. YAY! More 3rd party tools!

I will also be adding a category list to the right-hand-side here, to list my featured articles.

Yet another broken LCD TV came its way to me, this time for free. This particular model has a dead backlight. Since I have a slightly larger TV with no image panel and a nice working backlight, is it possible to swap them, knowing they are incompatible?

Updated and now mounted and working properly. In the prototype I was using a 5v regulator ‘7805′, which led to problems because of the heat it generated. I also had the dock mounted in front of the dash, rather than above it. This made it difficult to access the heating controls (oops!)

This idea has been in my head since I first got my iPhone. When I get into my car I want a super cool place to stick the phone so it not only charges, but connects to my car stereo and plays music and stuff. Being the geek that I am, I didnt even bother checking if one existed. I just started plotting and designing my own. Actually, it’s not that difficult at all.
