DIY 3D Camera

I’m tinkering with a 4-mirror mod for any camera or camcorder that allows you to snap a picture in crosseye-3d style, like the picture above (which is an example, and wasn’t captured in 3d). Basically the four mirrors split the visual field of the camera into two separate fields, and spaces them apart a few inches. This mimics the visual field of the human stereoscopic vision system. Neat!
